IKMF Grading - Bristol

We are running an IKMF grading for levels P1, P3, and P5 in Bristol. We are unable to grade any P3 or P5 levels who have graded within 6 months.

Grading is open to any IKMF members in the UK.

In accordance with IKMF, rules all even numbers (P2, P4 etc) are graded by the Global Team at National Events.

Grading will follow a seminar on aspects 0f P1, P3 and P5 to revise any sticking points problem areas etc.

Dave Stevens, a senior (G5) Krav Maga Instructor, former fighter, current boxing thai boxing coach will be delivering a seminar on advanced striking.

Krav Maga uses techniques from boxing and mauy thai so Dave will be teaching a real ‘masterclass’ on knock out power and correct technique.

Dave is a real expert in his field so this is literally not to be missed.

Over this seminar we will make the most of Jims’ unique expertise addressing a range of 21st century situations.
Personal protection is more than just learning how to defend yourself in the proverbial “bar fight.” Conflict today means learning how to survive a robbery, carjacking, gang violence, assault & battery, caustic chemical attacks, stun gun attacks, and other felonious attacks. You have to know more than just kicking and punching. You will be taught how criminals select their victims, how to detect a criminal surveillance and escape one, how to put yourself in the Position of Advantage in any environment, and most of all – how to be a “hard target.” However, we don’t stop there. We will educate you, through realistic Conflict Rehearsal on how to remember a suspect’s description, how to identify evidence and preserve a crime scene, what to say to the police, and courtroom survival.
Unlike other self-defense systems that teach you only to look out for yourself, we’ll teaching you the latest bodyguard tactics in how to protect others, like your loved ones who may be with during a crisis situation. We’ll also cover vehicle security, home security, and stuff you just won’t see in any other martial arts training.

Learn to deal with realistic, aggressive knife attacks. This is Krav Maga at its very best and open to all abilities teaching you how to avoid and deal with a real encounter on the street..

Nick Maison is an Expert level Krav Maga Instructor, and a certified military and civilian instructor.

The course will use Israeli Defensive tactics and techniques against aggressive pressurised attacks by a non compliant attacker. From multiple attackers to surviving on the ground Nick will give an in depth understanding of surviving in reality.

You are strongly advised to bring forearm protection. It will be available for purchase on the day. This promises to be a tough one, but a great experience.
